Where can I find free materials?
There is a lot of talk about the best way to learn a foreign language through interesting topics: movies, books, music, podcasts. But how effective is this method in comparison with classical textbooks and lessons? Is it really possible to achieve a high level by studying only "through interest"?

Listening has always been difficult for me, too. Even knowing the words, it was difficult to catch the speech at a fast pace. The solution turned out to be gradual training. I started listening to short phrases and repeating them. There are just such exercises on english grammar first simple, then more difficult. Over time, the hearing adapts, and long sentences no longer scare you. It works much better than just listening to the radio or songs.
